I have been waiting for this day for a while. I never thought changing the clocks and changes in weather would ever effect my running like it did. With my asthma and the Spondylitis in my back I can not run in the cold. It hurts my lungs and back. Finally the clocks have changed and spring is in the air. Let me tell you though I did not give up exercising. I switched it up with Zumba twice a week and walking. I also joined Weight Watchers with Emilee! I lost 3.2lbs in my first week, Emilee lost 2lbs in her fist week. YAY!!! Yesterday I purchased a FITBIT, can not wait for it to come. I hear it is a great MOTIVATOR!!! Does anyone else have one, has it motivated you more. Well here's looking at Spring, I love this time of year!!! I hope all of you has a great week. XOXO!!!

Dirty Girl 2013
It was a great weekend! Great weather, great laughs and a great time in the mud. All for a great cause! Dirty Girl Mud Run, held at Little Everglades Ranch in Dade City. Got up Saturday morning so excited to run this course with a great friend! It was freezing, so you can imagine how cold the mud was. No one cared we were all excited. We were in the 9 a.m. waive. They get you pumped up by doing Zumba. When you go they take you through the stables and your first obstacle is a huge slide you have to climb up and then you have to bounce down. It was a fun and bumpy ride! We had to go through the cold pond, crawl through tunnels with mud,go down more slides, climb through ropes, jump through tires. They also had one called the funky monkey, now this was my hardest. You had to climb up and then climb across the net!! It was a blast. Would do it all again in a heartbeat. Hiding The Scale 😬😬😬
Today I was reading another great blog by someone I know. She said that if anyone ever tells you to weigh yourself everyday then run away from that person really fast! So then I decided to ask the question " how often do you weigh yourself" I wanted to ask her this because she is a personal trainer. This is the response I got. " If your clothes are fitting just right or getting bigger on you then there is no need to weigh yourself" but if you have to weigh yourself then once a week at the most.
So I am going to try this I am going to hide my scale! I am obsessed with weighing myself everyday!! I also read that if you weigh yourself everyday and the number doesn't go down you are more than likely to get discouraged and stop your weight loss journey!!!
My question is for you, when you are dieting and exercising do you weigh yourself everyday? Do you get discouraged from it or does it make you work harder!!!

P.S. I wanted to share an exercise with you that I have started doing. It burns an extra 100 calories! It is the photo in the green!! I have also added using free weights!!! Good Luck in your WEIGHTLOSS this week!!!! Xoxo

It Worked
I took everyone's advise and ate more and switched up my exercises! I am running 4 days a week, Zumba on Wednesday's and light weights everyday of the week!
Must be doing something right I have LOST 3 more pounds!
I am excited tonight because we are running the pub run! Haven't ran in a couple of weeks! I do not run well in the could with my asthma!
I have to remember " it's not how fast you do it at least you are doing it"!!!!

Mixing it up!
After all the feed back I have come to the conclusion that I was not eating enough calories! I am now eating something every 2 hours. I also increased my calorie intake! I think I was putting myself in starvation mode!
So with that said I also made the decision to go back to ZUMBA! I feel that I need to mix it up and just not run all the time! Tonight my mom, Emilee and I made it back. Boy I forgot what it was like! We told our selves that every Wednesday we are going to Zumba!!
I loved it. I missed the laughing at ourselves and not worrying about what my time was when i finished running. or wondering if my time was better than the last time.If any of you would like to join me, the classes are at Pasco High School, Monday and Wednesday and it is only $3 a class! Hope to see you there!!!

No Pain No Gain
So after pushing myself this Saturday at the Kumquat Run. Then did Kickboxing yesterday running was hard today. I took a deep breath and got through it and still beat my time! I am impressing myself more and more everyday!!!
So I need a little help from all my peeps! I have the exercise part of my life down. Yes I have lost 47lbs. I would like to lose 25lbs more! I just can not get the whole food thing right. No matter what I do I can't seem to lose anymore weight. I use MyFitness pal and track my food and exercise. I just need to get the food part down better!
I need some tips from you guys on what to eat, what diet to be on.. Please help! I would like to get some ideas from you guys!!
This is what I eat for breakfast every morning. Special K cereal with fat free milk! Lunch is normally a sandwich or a frozen meal. Dinner is usually another bowl of cereal or something low carb!!! So as you can see I need a lot of help in this category. All feedback is welcomed! XOXO

Punch Out
ONGOODNESS am I going to be sore tomorrow! Emilee and I decided to try Kickboxing! Wow is all I can say! Fun,everyone should try to mix it up every now and then!
Kumquat Run 1/12/2013
We did the Kumquat Run yesterday as a family! My Uncle Gary came out and ran with us also! He has always been a runner! It was a beautiful day. Great course! All I wanted to do is get a great time, and I did! Since I have had the flu, I haven't been able to get my time back! Yesterday was the day I beat my time by 11 minutes! Emilee beat hers by 9! I am so proud if her! She is doing a GREAT JOB!! My husband did a fantastic job! He got 2nd place in his age group! I am so PROUD!! My uncle Gary got 3rd in his age group! All in all it was a great race! Now I am training for The Dirty Girl Mud Race! Anyone want to join me!
